Privacy policy

Effective 8 September 2026Applies to parametra.net and iCity
01

Who we are and what this covers

This policy explains how Parametra Technologies QFZ LLC, trading as Parametra (“Parametra”, “we”, or “us”), collects, uses, stores, and shares personal information when you visit parametra.net, create an account, purchase a subscription or credits, use iCity, or contact support.

Parametra is responsible for personal information used to operate its accounts, website, billing integration, and support services. Where we process personal information solely on an organisation's instructions, that organisation may be the responsible controller and its agreement with us governs that processing.

You can contact us about privacy at support@parametra.net.

02

Information we collect

We collect information you provide, information generated through your use of the Service, and purchase information received from Paddle.

Account and organisation information: Your name, email address, account identifiers, subscription plan, organisation membership, roles, and account-session information.

Purchase and credit information: Subscription and payment status, invoices, transaction identifiers, refunds, adjustments, credit purchases, credit balances, and credit-usage records.

Project inputs and outputs: Prompts, reference images, uploaded scene files and settings, project information, generation requests, approval and regeneration choices, and resulting images, models, materials, assets, and processed scenes. Files may contain personal information or identifying metadata.

Technical and usage information: Website pages visited, referring pages, browser and operating-system information, job identifiers, processing status, execution times, resource usage, errors, and software information supplied during service or support interactions.

Support and communications: Messages, attachments, replies, feedback, and email delivery, bounce, or complaint records. Reviews submitted for publication include the review text and the name you choose to display.

Payment details entered at Paddle checkout are handled by Paddle and its payment providers. We receive the purchase records needed to fulfil and administer your order. Do not send payment-card numbers, security codes, or passwords to our support team.

03

Local features and cloud processing

iCity combines local tools with cloud services. Local drawing and editing take place in your 3D software. Account access, subscription checks, cloud generation, synchronisation, and support involve communications with our services.

When you use cloud features, the add-on uploads the information required by that workflow. Depending on the feature, this can include prompts, reference images, scene geometry, scene settings, and project identifiers.

iCity uses cloud-hosted Blender processing, OpenAI language and image models, custom 3D-generation AI, and PBRFusion AI to produce and process assets. The models currently used include GPT-5 mini, GPT-6 Astra, and GPT Image 2. Models and processing tools may change as the Service develops.

Relevant inputs and intermediate content are processed by Parametra and the infrastructure and AI providers supporting that feature. Not every provider receives every uploaded file.

Cloud activity is linked to the relevant account, organisation, project, and credit records. Canceling an individual job does not automatically erase information already submitted or records already created.

Only upload material you are authorised to provide. Avoid including unnecessary personal information, confidential client details, or sensitive information in prompts, scenes, images, or support attachments.

04

Why we use information

We use information to:

  • Create and secure accounts, authenticate users, and manage permissions.
  • Provide generation, scene processing, project synchronisation, and asset-library features.
  • Deliver subscriptions, updates, purchased credits, and downloadable results.
  • Calculate usage, maintain credit records, and investigate billing or refund requests.
  • Answer support requests and send service, security, and account notices.
  • Diagnose failures, measure performance, and improve service reliability.
  • Investigate misuse, protect users, and meet applicable legal obligations.
  • Publish reviews or other material you submit for that purpose.
  • Train, test, and improve AI systems and expand our library using free-tier generated assets as described in section 06.

Where applicable data-protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on the basis appropriate to the activity and our relationship with you:

PurposeLegal basis
Providing accounts, purchases, requested processing, and related supportPerforming our contract with you; where we act as a processor for an organisation, its lawful instructions under the applicable agreement
Protecting accounts, preventing abuse, diagnosing problems, and improving reliabilityLegitimate interests in operating a secure and reliable service, balanced against your rights
Required accounting, tax records, and lawful disclosure obligationsCompliance with legal obligations
Optional activities requiring consent, including certain tracking or marketingYour consent, which you may withdraw

The free-tier asset licence is an intellectual-property permission. It does not itself establish a lawful basis for processing personal information. Where a proposed training or library use involves personal information, we must have a separate applicable legal basis and obtain consent where required. We will provide any additional notice needed before that use.

If you do not provide information needed for a particular feature, we may be unable to provide that feature. This policy explains our practices; accepting it is not a substitute for separate consent where consent is legally required.

05

Paid customer content

Assets generated under a paid subscription are for the customer. Parametra hosts and processes these assets to provide the Service and does not use them to train its AI models or add them to a library available to other customers.

We do not claim ownership of customers' original uploaded content. Rights in generated assets are described in our Terms of Service and remain subject to applicable law and any pre-existing third-party materials.

Authorised staff may access relevant content when necessary to provide support, investigate technical problems, maintain security, or comply with law. Processing through AI providers is for delivering the requested feature; we do not authorise those providers to use paid customer content for general model training.

Canceling or downgrading a paid subscription does not convert earlier paid generations into free-tier assets or grant Parametra training or library-reuse rights in them.

06

Free-tier generated assets

You may use assets generated under the free tier in accordance with its non-commercial licence.

Parametra may also retain, reproduce, modify, and use those generated assets to train, test, and improve its AI systems and to expand its asset library, including making them available to other customers for use under the applicable library licences.

This permission applies to assets generated under the free tier. It does not automatically include your original uploaded scenes, reference images, prompts, or other source material, and it does not authorise their general use for model training or public distribution.

Free-tier generated assets are therefore not exclusive to you. Upgrading later does not automatically withdraw permissions already granted for assets generated while using the free tier.

These permissions do not override applicable personal-data rights. Requests involving personal information within an asset will be assessed under applicable law. We do not treat the asset licence as a blanket waiver of deletion, objection, or other privacy rights.

07

Who receives information

We disclose information where needed for the purposes described in this policy:

  • Hosting and infrastructure providers: Amazon Web Services supports account authentication, application hosting, file storage, databases, processing, and support-email delivery.
  • AI-processing providers: Providers operating the language, image, and other AI services described in section 03 receive relevant content needed for those features. OpenAI language and image models are accessed through the Microsoft Azure OpenAI Service. Google's Gemini models remain available as an alternative image provider and receive content only for runs that select them.
  • Paddle: Purchase and account information is exchanged to provide checkout, subscription management, invoices, refunds, and payment fulfilment. Paddle acts as merchant of record and processes information under its own Privacy Policy.
  • Organisation users and administrators: Members may access organisation projects, assets, and related information according to their assigned permissions.
  • Asset-library users: Free-tier generated assets may be made available through our library as described in section 06. This permission does not extend to customers' original uploaded inputs or paid generations.
  • Professional advisers and authorities: Information may be disclosed where necessary for accounting, legal advice, responding to lawful requests, or establishing or defending legal claims.
  • Business successors: Information may be transferred as part of a merger, acquisition, or business transfer, subject to applicable privacy requirements and existing content-use restrictions.

We do not sell personal information. Permission to reuse free-tier generated assets is not permission to sell personal information contained in them.

08

Reviews, community, and cookies

A review you submit for publication may appear publicly with your chosen display name after moderation. Material you post in a public community may be viewed and copied by others.

Discord and other external services process information under their own privacy policies. Avoid posting private account, payment, or client information in public support channels.

parametra.net does not use analytics, advertising, or other third-party tracking tools. The website stores your theme preference and your sign-in session in your browser's local storage, and a short-lived sign-in state in session storage while you log in. Signing in uses Amazon Cognito at auth.parametra.net, and Paddle checkout and account portal frames may set their own cookies under Paddle's privacy policy. No disclosure described in this policy is a sale of personal information or sharing for targeted advertising.

Where consent is required for optional tracking, it must be obtained before that tracking occurs. You can also manage cookies and site storage through your browser, although blocking information needed for authentication may affect account access.

You may ask us to stop optional marketing communications. Essential billing, security, and service notices may still be sent.

09

International transfers and security

Our infrastructure includes hosting and processing in the United States. Other service providers may process information in additional countries, whose privacy laws may differ from those where you live.

Where a transfer of personal information is restricted by applicable law, we rely on the safeguards available for that transfer, such as the provider's applicable contractual clauses. Contact support@parametra.net for information about the safeguards that apply to a specific transfer.

We use measures designed to protect information, including authenticated access, permission checks, encrypted network connections, and time-limited links for file transfers. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

Keep your credentials secure and contact support@parametra.net if you suspect unauthorised access.

10

Hosting, retention, and deletion

Paid generation content

We host paid customers' generated assets and associated generation content while their paid subscription remains active.

Canceling automatic renewal does not immediately end paid access. Hosting continues until the end of the paid subscription period, unless an earlier termination takes effect, including following a full subscription refund.

We delete the customer's hosted generation content within seven calendar days after paid access ends. This includes generated assets, intermediate generation files, and uploaded inputs retained as part of those generation jobs. The deadline applies to copies under our control, including backup copies of that generation content, except for specific content we must retain to comply with law or preserve evidence for a legal claim.

Download any files you want to keep before paid access ends. The seven-day period is a deletion period, not an extension of paid features or guaranteed download access. Deletion of hosted files does not remove copies you have already downloaded or automatically end your validly acquired licence to use them.

Free-tier generated assets and inputs

Free-tier generated assets retained for the training and library purposes in section 06 may remain after the originating account closes, for as long as those purposes continue, subject to applicable law and personal-data rights.

Original free-tier inputs, including uploaded scenes, reference images, and prompts, are not covered by that reuse permission. We retain them only while needed to provide the relevant workflow or resolve a support, security, or legal matter. You may request deletion by contacting us.

Other records

  • Account information: Retained while needed to operate your account and administer its closure.
  • Licence and accounting records: Relevant records are retained during the licence term and normally for seven years afterwards, subject to applicable legal requirements.
  • Support correspondence: Normally retained for two years after the support matter is closed.
  • Payment and credit records: Retained as needed for accounting, transaction verification, refunds, and disputes, under the relevant accounting or legal retention period.
  • Operational and security records: Retained for the period needed to diagnose problems, verify charges, investigate incidents, and resolve disputes. Retaining these records does not permit keeping the underlying paid generation files beyond their deletion deadline unless a stated legal exception applies.

When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it. Where specific content must be retained for a legal reason, we restrict its use to that purpose. The seven-day generation-content deadline is not a promise to erase legally required accounting records or support correspondence within seven days.

Subscription cancellation and account deletion are separate actions. To request deletion of your account or personal information, contact support@parametra.net. Paddle may retain its own transaction records under its privacy policy and legal obligations.

11

Your rights and choices

Depending on applicable law, you may have the right to:

  • Access your personal information and obtain a copy.
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • Request deletion or restriction of processing.
  • Object to processing based on legitimate interests or to direct marketing.
  • Receive eligible information in a portable format.
  • Withdraw consent without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing.
  • Exercise applicable rights concerning significant automated decisions.
  • Complain to your local data-protection authority.

Our systems automate job processing, content checks, and credit calculations. Contact us if you believe an automated outcome affecting your account or billing is incorrect.

Send privacy requests to support@parametra.net. We may request proportionate information to verify your identity or authority to act for another person. Where applicable law permits an authorised agent to submit a request, we may ask for evidence of that authority.

We aim to respond within 30 days and will comply with any shorter applicable deadline. Where an extension is legally permitted and necessary, we will explain the reason and revised deadline within the required period.

Some requests may be limited by legal retention duties or the rights of others. We will explain any refusal and available review or appeal route. You may complain to a regulator without first contacting us. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights.

For information controlled by your organisation, we may refer your request to its administrator or assist it in responding.

12

Changes and contact

We will update the effective date when this policy changes. Material changes will be announced before they take effect through the website and, where appropriate, email or an account notice. Discord announcements may supplement these notices.

Where a new use of information requires consent, we will request it separately. New permissions for training or library reuse do not apply retrospectively without the necessary rights or consent.

For privacy questions, requests, or complaints, contact support@parametra.net.
