Two routes to an answer. The Discord is fastest for anything scene-specific; email is right when a file or an invoice is involved.

Common questions

Installation, credits and licensing — the questions that come up most often in the Discord.

What stage is iCity in?

iCity is in development. Build updates are published in your account and announced in the Discord.

Which 3D software is supported?

The development build supports Blender 4.5 LTS or 5.2 on Windows 10 and 11. We intend to expand iCity to other major 3D applications and operating systems, but those integrations are not available yet.

How do credits work?

One credit represents one cent of measured cloud work. Drawing and editing are free; a full generated theme has recently used roughly 220–275 credits, while individual materials and props use much less.

What does the free tier include?

40 credits a month, assets only, under a non-commercial licence.

How do I install the add-on?

Download your personal add-on package from the Account page, then install the ZIP through Blender Preferences. The manual provides the complete setup sequence.

Which licence covers client work?

Indie carries a solo commercial licence. Studio adds the priority queue and the API; Team pools credits across a minimum of three seats.

How long does support take?

First response is usually 24 to 48 hours by email. The Discord is faster during working hours and is where most scene-specific problems get solved.

Do you offer educational or municipal licences?

Yes, quoted separately rather than sold per seat. Send the number of seats and the institution and we will come back with terms.
