Refund and cancellation policy

Effective 8 September 2026Applies to parametra.net and iCity

This policy covers iCity subscriptions and credit purchases from Parametra through Paddle. It explains our standard refund terms. Nothing in this policy limits your mandatory consumer rights or any greater rights available under Paddle’s applicable Buyer Terms and Refund Policy.

01

Cancel a subscription

You may cancel through the Paddle customer portal linked on your account page. Cancel before your next renewal to prevent the next subscription charge.

Unless an immediate cancellation is agreed with support or a subscription refund is processed, cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid billing period. You retain paid access until that date.

Cancellation stops future renewals; it does not automatically refund previous payments. Uninstalling iCity or stopping use of the service does not cancel your subscription. If you cannot access the portal, contact support@parametra.net.

02

Initial subscription refunds

You are eligible for a full refund of your initial monthly or annual subscription payment if:

  • You submit your request within 14 calendar days of purchase.
  • No credits granted by that payment have been used.

Use of free or promotional credits alone does not disqualify you. Credits deducted in error and subsequently restored following our review do not count as usage for this purpose.

For subscriptions with shared credits, usage by any member drawing from those subscription credits counts toward eligibility.

Outside these conditions, we do not normally refund subscription payments or provide pro-rata refunds for unused days or months. The exceptions and consumer rights described below still apply.

03

Renewals and plan changes

Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled. Renewal payments and plan changes do not restart the initial-purchase refund window.

If you believe a renewal, upgrade, or other payment was made by mistake, contact us within 14 calendar days of the charge. We will review the payment, associated usage, and circumstances; approval is not automatic.

Duplicate charges, incorrect charges, and charges taken after a cancellation should have become effective will be investigated and corrected where confirmed. The 14-day request period does not restrict any longer period available under applicable law or Paddle’s terms.

04

Credit purchases

Separately purchased credit packs are eligible for a full refund when requested within 14 calendar days of purchase, provided none of the credits from that pack have been used.

Partially used packs are normally non-refundable, including their remaining balance. Free, promotional, and bonus credits cannot be exchanged for cash.

Subscription cancellation does not automatically refund a credit pack. Any refund rights arising from billing errors, service defects, applicable law, or Paddle’s terms remain available.

05

Failed jobs, partial results, and AI output

If a technical problem prevents a generation or city-processing job from producing its expected usable output, contact us with the job ID and a description of the issue.

We review the work performed, outputs delivered, and credits actually deducted. Where we confirm an incorrect or duplicate credit deduction, we will correct it. Where a service failure affects a charged job, we may restore the affected credits, arrange a replacement run, or provide another appropriate remedy.

A job may deliver some usable results while another part fails. In those cases, we assess the affected part and its charges; a partial failure does not automatically qualify the entire subscription or credit purchase for a refund.

AI-generated results vary. Dissatisfaction with style or creative interpretation alone does not establish a technical defect or entitlement to a refund outside our standard eligibility terms. This does not exclude remedies for outputs or services that are materially defective or do not match what was promised.

Requesting another variation, regenerating, or canceling a running job does not automatically reverse credits properly charged for work already performed.

Restoring credits is separate from refunding a payment. It does not replace a cash refund where one is required by applicable law or Paddle’s terms.

06

Refund processing and access

Approved payment refunds are processed through Paddle to the original payment method where possible. Paddle’s policy provides for processing within 14 days of approval; your bank or payment provider may take additional time to show the funds.

A full subscription refund ends the refunded subscription and its paid access when processed. Credits and bonuses associated with a refunded purchase may be removed. For a partial refund, we will explain the amount and any corresponding changes to access or credits.

07

Consumer rights

You may have statutory withdrawal, cancellation, or refund rights depending on your location, including rights relating to faulty or misdescribed digital content and services.

Our standard time limits, unused-credit conditions, and renewal exclusions do not override those rights. Using the service does not, by itself, waive statutory withdrawal rights; any loss of those rights must satisfy the applicable legal requirements.

You may also contact Paddle through paddle.net to request assistance or exercise rights under its applicable terms.
